- 2/3 cup long grain white rice
- 1 1/3 cups Water
- 1/4 teaspoon saffron threads or a pinch of powdered saffron
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
1 Combine the rice, water, saffron and salt. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to very low and cook 10 minutes or until the rice is tender and the liquid is gone.
2 Set aside with the lid on for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork and stir in the cilantro.
