Simple syrup is the base for this refreshing drink. Green tea is loaded with antioxidants.
- Cook Time
- ½ cup water
- ½ cup sugar
Sweet Iced Green Tea
- 3 bages green tea
- 1 quart boiling water
- 1 cup simple syrup
1. For syrup: In a small saucepan, combine water and sugar. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
2. For tea: In a pot, steep bags in the water for 10 minutes. Remove tea bags. Stire in simple syrup. Chill tea in fridge or pour over ice and serve immediately.
