Since there is no kosher booth at the Renaissance festival, I made my own. This recipe is sans smoker, but it would be even better smoked.

- 4 turkey legs, medium size
- 3 tablespoons barbecue sauce or Orange Marmalade
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 3 cups Water
- 2 tablespoons poultry spice blend
1 Pat turkey legs dry with a paper towel. Mix barbecue chicken spice blend, 1/2 cup vinegar and 3 cups water in a pan and marinate legs for 6 hours, turning once.
2 Drain off 1/2 liquid. Cover pan with foil and bake for 40 minutes at 350. Turn legs over after 20 minutes.
3 Heat grill and transfer turkey to give it a roasted color, then brush on the BBQ sauce or Marmalade. Cook for 10 minutes more and then serve.
