Perfect appetizer or side dish for Rosh Hashana or any of the chagim.

- 1 (8-ounce) can of chickpeas
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
- ½ cup of water
- ½ cup of honey
1. Mix all ingredients together in a baking dish and cover.
2. Bake at 350° for 30-45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Remove when chickpeas are golden brown.
This recipe can be doubled, tripled or more and used for the traditional Shalom Zachor dish.
