- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- 8 ounce semisweet chocolate, chopped
- 1/4 cup kahlua, chocolate or coffee liqueur
- 1 pint good quality chocolate ice cream
Heat heavy cream in a small pot over medium low heat until it just begins to bubble around the edge. In a medium bowl, combine corn syrup and chocolate. Pour hot cream over chocolate mixture and let sit 5 minutes. Whisk until smooth and stir in kahlua.
Divide ice cream between four bowls. Top each with sauce and serve immediately.
