Silan is an israeli date honey, sold like real honey (and much less expensive) it has a taste similar to molases or black treacle. i always serve with white rice.

- 6 chicken legs
- ½ cup silan
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 garlic cloves
1 Pre-heat oven to 375°F (180°C).
2 Clean chicken of all feathers (if needed) and place in a pan (I use a rectangular pyrex dish)
3 In a small bowl mix the silan, soy sauce and chopped garlic then brush generously on the chicken.
4 Cook for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
