The crispy dough, creamy cheese, and fruit and nut center create an original on a cheese plate. This recipe is for one small round of brie or camembert cheese; feel free to double or triple this recipe for larger crowds.

- 1 6-ounce round of brie or camembert cheese
- ¼ cup raspberry, grape, fig or any jam of choice
- 1/3 cup chopped walnuts
- 6-ounces puff pastry rolled out to 1/8th inch thickness on lightly floured surface
1 Preheat the oven to 350.
2 Line baking tray with parchment paper.
3 Slice the brie in halves and top each half with jam and walnuts. Then place the two halfs of the cheese together.
4 Slice the puff pastry in half. Place stuffed brie cheese on top of one half. Top brie with other half of puff pastry. Seal the puff pastry well to cover brie completely.
5 Brush pastry with one beaten egg and bake for 25 minutes.
