  • 3 tablespoon margarine
  • 3 tablespoon all purpose flour
  • 3 cup Manischewitz All Natural Chicken Broth
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper


In a small sauté pan, whisk together margarine and flour over medium heat until melted and beginning to turn light brown. Slowly add stock while whisking constantly. Increase heat to medium high and simmer, stirring constantly, until thickened. Add wine and continue to cook until desired thickness is reached. If too thick, thin with a little more stock. Season with salt and pepper and serve immediately. Garnish with additional fresh pepper.
