- 4 chicken drumsticks, skin-on or skinless Marinade:
- 1/4 cup apple butter
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper 2 apples, cored and sliced into eighths
1 In medium bowl, stir together all ingredients for the marinade.
2 Add the drumsticks and toss to coat.
3 Cover and refrigerate for 15 minutes. Preheat the broiler.
4 Line a broiler pan with aluminum foil and then set the drumsticks in it.
5 Broil for 20-30 minutes, turning the drumsticks occasionally and brushing them with marinade.
6 Can also be cooked on the grill.
7 Serve with apple slices.
