It’s summer, time to dust off that blender and whip up some cool, healthy, icy drinks. Nothing like the sound of ice being crushed to send goose-bumps up your spine. It also puts my mind in RELAX mode; I start looking around for a chaise lounge and a floppy straw hat.

Agave, a natural sweetener, has a mild taste and dissolves well. It’s sweeter than sugar so a little does a lot. Hemp powder is high in protein and Omegas. Both can be found in health food stores or the health food aisle of your grocery store. Nutrition information based on using skim milk and hemp powder.
