On Tu B’Shvat, Make Sweets From the Tree, Not Just the Fruit!

In celebration of "The New Year for the Trees", Tu B'Shvat, we eat and cook with the fruit of the tree. This year we suggest eating the actual tree. Cinnamon is a warm, sweet spice made from the inner bark of a tree. It is delicious in this Cinnamon Chocolate Cake with Cinnamon Glaze and these Cinnamon Walnut Cookies.
