Ingredients

  • 1 ground carrot
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 3 tablespoon oil
  • 1 tablespoon potato starch
  • 1 sweet potato, cut in chunks
  • 1 green peper, sliced
  • 1 onion, minced
  • carrots, sliced in chunks
  • 1 kholrabi, cut in chunks
  • parsley
  • celery in chunks
  • potatoes, sliced in chunks
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • meat and veal bones
  • approximately 6 cups water

Preparation

In a large pot, brown carrots in oil, adding sugar, then potato starch. Continue adding remaining ingredients; bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer partially covered for approximately two hours. I usually double the recipe and store extra in Tupperware containers to retain optimum freshness.
