Traditional Turkey Burger


  • Prep Time : 10 min
  • Cook Time : 10 min
  • Ready Time : 20 min



  • 2 pounds Ground turkey
  • 1 Package (1-ounce) dried onion soup mix
  • 1/2 Cup ketchup or tomato juice
  • 2 Teaspoons prepared or dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 8 Hamburger buns, lightly toasted



1 In large bowl, combine turkey, soup mix, ketchup (or tomato juice), prepared mustard (or dry mustard) and pepper.
2 Shape into 8 patties approximately 4 inches in diameter.
3 Grill or broil about 4-inches from heat, in a preheated grill or broiler, cook turkey burgers about 5 minutes per side, turning only once. Cook until no longer pink in center and the internal temperature registers 165 degrees F
4 To serve, place burgers on buns.
