Sweet Meatballs

this sweetmeat recipe goes so well with everything. and kids love it to. I have tried it with pasta, quinoa, rice and even a meatball sandwich. so why don't you try it also!


  • Prep Time : 10 minutes min
  • Cook Time : 15 minutes min
  • Ready Time : 25 min



  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 scallion sticks
  • 1tsp garlic powder
  • 1tbsp duck sauce
  • 1tsp dried parsley
  • 1tsp salt
  • 2tbsp brown sugar
  • 2tbsp orange juice
  • 2tbsp soy sauce
  • 1tbsp ginger powder
  • 1tsp sweet chili sauce
  • 1/2tsp sesame oil


mix the first 6 ingredients together and roll into medium seize balls. cook on frying pan, medium flame, for 5 minutes. the last 6 ingredients mix together in a sauce pan, bring to boil for 5 minutes, then pour sauce on top of meatballs. Let the meatballs cook covered for 5 minutes.

    I made these and they were delicious! I only had trouble having the meatballs not fall apart once I started to cook them. Should eggs be added or flour to hold them together?

  2. you can try one egg, or even 1c breadcrumbs will make it firm.
