Southwestern Gefilte Fish
This is a quick and easy gefilte fish recipe that you can change and modify to your taste.

Servings
Ingredients
- 1 whole frozen gefilte fish
- 1/2 cup chopped orange or red pepper
- 2 cups salsa
Directions
Place pepper at bottom of loaf pan. Can add mangos, corn or other vegetables in a shallow layer if space allows.
Remove all paper from frozen fish under cold running water.
Place fish in loaf pan. It should still be semi-frozen at this point.
Pour salsa over fish.
Cover pan tightly with foil.
Bake for 1-1.5 hours at 350.
Cool and refrigerate.
Serve Chilled.

tried it but classic gefilte fish is the best-with horseradish. my jewish friends got me hooked on it so i buy it frozen and cook a loaf
