Southwestern Gefilte Fish

This is a quick and easy gefilte fish recipe that you can change and modify to your taste.

  • Prep Time : 5-10 minutes min
  • Ready Time : 5 min

  • 1 whole frozen gefilte fish
  • 1/2 cup chopped orange or red pepper
  • 2 cups salsa

Place pepper at bottom of loaf pan. Can add mangos, corn or other vegetables in a shallow layer if space allows.

Remove all paper from frozen fish under cold running water.

Place fish in loaf pan. It should still be semi-frozen at this point.

Pour salsa over fish.

Cover pan tightly with foil.

Bake for 1-1.5 hours at 350.

Cool and refrigerate.

Serve Chilled.
