SMELL GOOD onion sauce

5-6 People


  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 4 chicken legs
  • 3 large onions (sliced) 5 small ones (sliced)
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 pinch stevia or 1 teaspoon of brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons whole wheat flour OPTIONAL


1. Take out a sauce pan and put in 2 tablespoons of olive oil – put on low temperature

2. Put in the onions and garlic and saute until nice and soft and some-what brown

3. Pour in the vinegar, the pinch of Stevia and the honey – stir around until fully mixed it (add the pepper and 1 tablespoon of salt *and any other spices you prefer) **you may also add the flour if you want to make it crispy

4. Take out a foil pan and put the 1 tablespoon of olive oil in. Use the other 1 tablespoon of salt and salt the uncooked naked chicken and place in the pan.

5. Pour the onion sauce over chicken and cook in oven on 350 degrees F for about 30 minutes (flip chicken over half way through cooking)
