Shabbat London Broil
This is adapted from the Kosher Palette, it always comes out great and is wonderful meat for Shabbat.

Ingredients
- 21/2 lbs London Broil
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup lite soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp. fresh sage, finely chopped
- 1 Tsp. Fresh Ground Black Pepper
- 6 Cloves garlic, crushed
Directions
Preparation
1 Score meat on both sides to allow flavors to get into the meat, ¼ inch deep.
2 Put in ziplock with all ingredients – marinate overnight. Allow meat to come to room temperature. Preheat grill to high or oven to broil.
3 Place meat on grill or in pan in oven, reserving the marinade. Baste every 5 minutes, cooking 10 -15 minutes per side. When ready, allow to sit for 10 minutes to retain juices. Then cut it into slices if you have time before Shabbat use an electric knife.
4 Serve with some grilled vegetables or a nice salad.

This is mine and my husband’s favorite london broil recipe! I clean fresh sage and store whatever I don’t use in the freezer for the next time I make this. It’s always a hit!
