Sesame Broccoli

  • 2 tablespooons oil
  • 1 large clove garlic, crushed
  • A one inch slice of fresh ginger
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • Salt to taste
  • 6 tablespoons Water
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoons sesame seeds



1 Heat the oil in a pressure cooker until very hot. Add the garlic and ginger and stir fry until the garlic is golden.
2 Add the broccoli and stir fry until it turns a bright green. Sprinkle with salt and transfer the broccoli to the the vegetable basket.
3 Pour the water and soy sauce into the cooker, put the basket inside and close the lid. Bring to pressure, cook for 4 minutes and use quick release method to bring down the pressure.
4 Serve with some of the cooking liquid and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
