Sauteed Beet Greens

NEVER throw away the greens from your beets, they are sooo good and so easy to prepare.

  • Cook Time : 5 minutes min
  • Ready Time : 10 min

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 Clove garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beet greens, chopped
  • 1 tbsp. toasted pine nuts (optional)
  • 2 tbsp. raisins (optional)

Directions

Preparation

1 Heat pan over medium high eat. Add olive oil.
2 Sauted onion and garlic until fragrant. Add greens sauted until wilted.
3 Top with pine nuts and raisins if desired.
