Pistachio Crusted Mahi Mahi

A fun, easy and quick way to enjoy Mahi Mahi.


  • Prep Time : 5 min
  • Cook Time : 20 min
  • Ready Time : 25 min




  • 1.5 pounds Mahi Mahi
  • 1/2 cup pistachios (shelled)
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt to taste


Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Take the skin off the fish if you can, this step is optional.

Chop pistachios with a chopper or coffee grinder and place in a small plate with bread crumbs.

Brush olive oil on fish or place on a plate and dip top of fish in oil. Then dip in crumbs and place on baking sheet. Sprinkle with salt if desired.

Bake for about 20 minutes or until desired.

  2. I often give a pistachio crust to fish. Simple, and gives so much flavor and extra texture. Love it.

  5. Can I top it with a lemon, butter, caper sauce?

  6. Also, can I add panko crumbs to the flour and pistachio mix and deep fry or grill on BBQ?
