Pina Banana

You can’t serve up Caribbean drinks without paying homage to the infamous PinaColada. But you don’t have to stick with the same-old-drink, either. Try this updated, fruit-forward smoothie that’s equally delicious with or without the “punch”!

  • Prep Time : 5 min
  • Ready Time : 5 min

1 serving

  • 1 ounce coconut rum (or 1 tablespoon cream of coconut)
  • 1⁄2 ounce orange liqueur (or 1 orange, peeled and seeded)
  • 1⁄2 ounce banana liqueur (or an additional 1⁄2 banana)
  • 6 ounces pineapple juice
  • 1⁄2 fresh or frozen banana
  • 1 small mango, sliced
  • Dash of bitters
  • Ice

1 Blend all ingredients in blender until mostly smooth; keep a few chunks
for authenticity. Serve in an oversized hurricane glass, balloon glass or coconut shell. Garnish with a fresh pineapple wedge, orange slice or dried banana chips.
