Peppers and Onion Saute

  • Cook Time : 10 min
  • Ready Time : 20 min

Servings

2 cup (s)s

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cups sliced bell peppers, assorted colors
  • 1 medium red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper

Directions

In a medium sauté pan over medium high heat, add oil, peppers and onions and sauté for 4 to 6 minutes, until beginning to soften. Add garlic and Worcestershire and sauté 5 minutes more or until wilted. Add salt and pepper and stir to combine. Serve on hot dogs or hamburgers

    Made this for this past Shabbat. Used soy sauce instead of Worcestershire sauce. Served it with chumus and techina etc. it was YUM! Big hit and great way to use peppers that were getting old…
