Ingredients
- 1 pound pecan halves
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine -- melted
- 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon five-spice powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
Directions
- Place pecans in crock pot.
- In a bowl combine the melted margarine or butter, soy sauce, five-spice powder, garlic powder, ginger and red pepper.
- Pour over nuts. Stir to coat nuts. Cover; cook on low setting for 2 hours.
- Uncover and stir.
- urn to high-heat setting.
- Cover and continue cooking on high for 15 to 30 minutes.
- Cool.
