Mushroom and Corn Soup

this soup is so quick and easy and tastes delicious, try it once and youll never want canned or powder soup again!

Ingredients

  • 1 can corn kernels
  • 1 can mushroom pieces
  • 2 heaping tblsps chicken soup powder (can uses parve)
  • 1 large onion diced
  • 2 tblsp soy sauce
  • drizzle of oil
  • 2 liters water
  • 2 tblsp cornmeal

Preparation

Preparation

1 in a pot (big enough for 2 liters of water) cook onions in a drizzle of oil untill soft
2 add in the corn (drained) and the mushrooms (drained) and cook a few minutes so the flavors combine
3 add 2 liters of boiling water, soy sauce (2tblsp) and chicken soup powder (2 heaping tblsps) stir and let boil
4 remove 2 or so ladles of soup and set aside, to the 2 ladles of soup add in the corn meal stirring well so there are no lumps
5 return the 2 ladles back to the soup and stir until the soup thickens slightly.
6 enjoy!
