Moroccon Cigars – Vegetarian

I love making these with fake meat to fake out all the meat eaters.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 package veggie ground round (12 oz.)
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1/2 Tsp. Cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 package wonton wrappers

Preparation

1 Heat pan over medium high eat. Add olive oil.

2 Saute onion for about 2 minutes, then add fake meat.

3 Add spices and stir.

4 Place wonton wrappers on flat surface. Spoon 1 tsp. of mixture on to wrapper.

5 Roll up and seal off edges with a little water.

6 Place cigars on cookie sheet, spray with cooking spray and bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

7 Alternatively, you can pan fry in a little oil, turning as needed.
