Ingredients
- 1 package English muffins, split in half (6-piece)
- 1 cup jarred marinara or pizza sauce
- 2 balls fresh mozzarella, cut into 12 slices (7-ounce)
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
Directions
Preheat broiler on low heat and move oven rack to highest position. Lightly grease a large sheet pan and set aside.
Open English muffins and lay on sheet pan cut side up. Divide sauce between 12 halves and spread evenly to cover well. Top each with 1 slice mozzarella and sprinkle with salt.
Broil on low for 4 to 6 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly. Top with fresh basil and serve immediately.
