Maple Roasted Sweet Potatoes with Pecans

  • Prep Time : 5 minutes min
  • Cook Time : 40 minutes min
  • Ready Time : 45 min

Ingredients

  • 4 pounds sweet potatoes, scrubbed clean and cut into 1/2-inch thick wedges
  • 5 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  • 6 Tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 cups chopped pecans

Directions

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 400 F.
  2. Divide sweet potatoes evenly between two sheet pans in a single layer. Drizzle with olive oil and salt and roast for 30 minutes. Remove and toss with maple syrup and pecans. Return to oven and roast 5 to 10 minutes more or until tender and slightly browned.

    Do you have any suggestions for spices to make sweet potato fries. I want a recipe with ingredients such as cinnamon and brown sugar, but without too much sugar and with other spices besides for cinnamon. Thanks! I actually also made this recipe and they came out really good! We now make a type of sweet potato dish almost every shabbos!Thanks!
