Lavash Chips and Dips

Lavash if a thin Mediterranean bread you can find at many supermarkets and it bakes up fast into delicious chips perfect for dipping into both of these dips, but these dips can be used for many things, they are so good.

  • Ready Time : 0 min

    Lavash Chips

    • 2 pieces of lavash
    • cooking spray
    • salt

    Greek Sesame Dip

    • 1/3 cup plain greek yogurt
    • 1/3 cup low fat mayonnaise
    • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
    • 1/4 cup toasted sesame seeds
    • 1 teaspoon ginger juice easiest from a piece of frozen ginger that is defrosted

    Pumpkin Miso Dip

    • 1 small pumpkin or squash (about 1 pound)
    • 2 teaspoons chopped ginger
    • 2 tablespoons white miso
    • 1 1/2 tablespoons tahini
    • 2 teaspoons soy sauce

For Chips – Cut in half a few times until it is small enough to cut into triangles.  Lay out triangles on a cookie sheet, spray with cooking spray and sprinkle with salt.  Place in a preheated 350 degree oven and bake for about 5 minutes until crisp.  Make sure not to burn, they cook fast.

    Greek Sesame Dip

Mix all ingredients in a bowl and serve with chips and veggies.  You can even use a salad dressing but it might need to be thinned.

    Pumpkin Miso Dip

Cut pumpkin or squash in half and cook in microwave until soft.  Scoop out flesh and place in food processor with the rest of the dip ingredients. Puree until smooth adding a little water if needed.  Enjoy with chips.
