Recipe

Latkes with a truffle twist

2 potatoes, half a yellow onion - put it in the cuisinart until it's pretty much mush. Add somoe flour - maybe 1/2 cup. Add some kosher salt - maybe 1/2 tsp. Add an egg. Stir it up then fry till golden brown. Sprinkle with truffle salt before serving and/or serve with sharp cheddar cheese and salsa.

  • 2 potatoes
  • 1/2 yellow onion
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp truffle salt
  • canola oil for frying

Preparation

1 Use a food processor and add flour if you need to for consistency. 2 potatoes, half a yellow onion – put it in the cuisinart until it’s pretty much mush. Add somoe flour – maybe 1/2 cup.
