Indonesian Chicken Wings

This is a personal favorite. The cumin in this dish will make your taste buds sing.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • Marinade
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1/4 cup basil leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 2 Cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes, optional

Preparation

Preparation

1 Mix together marinade ingredients and let chicken wings marinate for at least 1/2 an hour.
2 Add water and pour entire contents into a baking dish. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
3 Broil for a few minutes to brown top. Watch carefully to be sure it doesn''t burn.
4 Serve over jasmine rice.
