Imitation Crab Cakes

  • 1 lb:imitation crab meat
  • 1 cup:bread crumbs
  • 1 :egg
  • 3 tablespoon:mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon:seafood seasonings
  • 1 tablespoon:Worcestershire
  • 2 teaspoons:lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons:mustard
  • 2 tablespoons:chopped parsley
  • olive:oil



  1. In a bowl combine the mayonnaise, seafood seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, mustard and parsley.
  2. Mix well and then add imitation crab to mixture and gently mix. Blend in bread crumbs.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for an hour. Shape into patties and saute gentle in olive oil (thin layer).


Note: The Imitation crab cakes are easier to handle if mixture is allowed to chill before forming.

  1. I have been looking for and cannot find imitation crab that is kosher. Every package I read says it has crab or lobster in the ingredients. Is there a specific brand that is kosher?
