Imitation Crab Cakes

Ingredients
- 1 lb:imitation crab meat
- 1 cup:bread crumbs
- 1 :egg
- 3 tablespoon:mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon:seafood seasonings
- 1 tablespoon:Worcestershire
- 2 teaspoons:lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons:mustard
- 2 tablespoons:chopped parsley
- olive:oil
Directions
Preparation
- In a bowl combine the mayonnaise, seafood seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, mustard and parsley.
- Mix well and then add imitation crab to mixture and gently mix. Blend in bread crumbs.
- Cover and refrigerate for an hour. Shape into patties and saute gentle in olive oil (thin layer).
Tips
Note: The Imitation crab cakes are easier to handle if mixture is allowed to chill before forming.









I have been looking for and cannot find imitation crab that is kosher. Every package I read says it has crab or lobster in the ingredients. Is there a specific brand that is kosher?
