Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars
For the nuts the 6 oz. or 7oz. packages should both work fine.

Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 sticks margarine
- 2 eggs
- 2 pkg. vanilla sugar or 1 1/2 tablespoons
- 1 6 oz. pkg ground walnuts
- 1 6 oz. pkg ground filberts
- 2 cups potato starch
- 1 pkg chocolate chips
Directions
In a large bowl, mix sugar with margarine, adding eggs one at a time until creamy. Add vanilla sugar, nuts, starch, mixing well. Stir in chocolate chips until thoroughly
mixed. Refrigerate dough for several hours. Then pat it down on a 17 X 12 cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Cool then cut into bars, store in a Tupperware airtight container for optimum freshness.

the packages are usually 6 oz.
how many grams is a stick please?
113 grams or 1/2 cup
Was this recipe changed? The vanilla sugar I had said 3 pkg, not or 1 1/2 Tblsp. I put in 3 tubs/packages of it and I’m writing because it obviously didn’t turn out, it didn’t cook or anything. I would have been nice to get a new email stating updated measurements. Thank goodness I made this 3 days before the seder, so now I have time to re-make it. Please review recipes you post on your website so that people don’t have to make them twice.
Thank you for your comment, we are a community site and some times we all make mistakes in putting recipes up, we forget that everything has different measurements and I am sorry about that, I hope it turns out great tomorrow.
Has anyone made this? 2nd time and it isn’t cooking in the middle. Is the baking time correct?

When did you add in to refigerate the dough for several hours? Is this the final copy of the recipe? Everytime I check back to see other people’s comments the recipe has changed. No neither of mine has come out.
I am so sorry, there were some problems obviously with this recipe and the author told me to make the changes of a few things that some how got left out and clarifications. She said it is correct now, I will see if I can test it out tomorrow.
