Gerri’s Fleshig Apple Kugel (non-dairy)
FLESHIG APPLE KUGEL 5-6 apples, grated (3 cups) Fruit Fresh solution (or lemon-water mixture to prevent apples from browning) 3 eggs 9 Tbsp. sugar scant 1/2 tsp. salt 3/4 tsp. cinnamon 10-12 oz. fine noodles, cooked and drained 3/4 cup raisins 1/4 cup oil Grate apples and soak in Fruit Fresh solution. Beat eggs, sugar, salt and cinnamon together. Drain apples then combine all ingredients and pour into greased 2-quart baking dish. Bake at 400F for 40 minutes.

- Fruit Fresh solution or lemon-water to prevent grated apples from browning
- 3 large eggs
- 9 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 10-12 ounce fine noodles, cooked and drained
- 3/4 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup (vegetable) oil
Directions
Grate apples and soak in Fruit Fresh (or lemon-water) solution.
Beat eggs, sugar, salt and cinnamon together.
Drain apples then combine all ingredients and pour into greased 2-quart baking dish.
Bake at 400F for 40 minutes
