Gefilte Fish In Tomato Sauce


  • Prep Time : 5 min
  • Cook Time : 1 hour
  • Ready Time : 1 hour, 5 min




  • 1 loaf frozen:gefilte fish, partially thawed
  • 2 - 3 cups:spicy and chunky marinara or pizza sauce
  • olive:oil



  1. Slice the partially frozen fish into portions and fry in some hot oil for a few minutes on each side, until lightly browned.
  2. Pour sauce over all. Cover and simmer for an hour or so.
  3. I usually make this in advance and serve cold. This recipe can be doubled or tripled.

I have no idea who sent me this recipe but my kids love it
