Hi Jack — I live in Englewood. Where’s a nearby place that carries your facon?

I am a huge fan on Jack’s products. My biggest issue with this is that you have such trouble separating the facon after opening the package. You cant get a single whole piece out. I tried it cold, I let it thaw a bit, nothing worked. Even when I try to make Facon and eggs, I end up chopping the entire package because it just rips.

Aburack – I had the same problem at first; which amused me because I’m a giyoret of over 40+ years and I realized I had forgotten how to cook “bacon”! Start the slices in a frying pan on low heat and keep turning them over; alternatively cook for a minute or two in your microwave if it’s fleishic.

    • Message from Jack – We are aware that the Facon strips can be hard to separate. Unfortunately we do not have an alternative packaging solution right now, but we are working on it. The best advice we can offer is to run the package under warm water for a minute, as stated on the front of the package.
