Egg Drop Soup

This an easy soup that I make often to have with my wontons. I use the egg drop soup mix, because it provides the right consistency and is cheap.

  • Ready Time : 0 min

  • 8 cups Water
  • 1 package egg drop soup mix
  • 1 chicken bouillion cube
  • 2 Eggs

  1. Boil water and add egg drop soup mix and boullion.
  2. When it is boiling, beat eggs together and use fork to drop in egg through the tines of the fork. Stir with fork after every other drop.
  3. When all egg has been dropped, it is ready to go. You can add the wontons if using and simmer for 20 minutes.

  1. what brand of egg drop soup mix do you use and where can I buy it?

    • There are two kosher brands I have found and I have found in many kosher sections of regular supermarkets as well as kosher markets. I do recall the exact brand names right now, but found them both to be the same.
