Easy Cheese Blintz Souffle

  • Cook Time : 45 min
  • Ready Time : 55 min

Ingredients

  • :Batter
  • 2 :sticks melted butter
  • 1/2 :c. sugar
  • 2 :eggs, beaten
  • 1 :c. flour
  • 3 :teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 :c. milk
  • Pinch:of salt
  • 1 :teaspoon vanilla
  • :----
  • :Filling
  • 1 :lb. cream cheese
  • 1 :lb. cottage cheese
  • 2 :beaten eggs
  • 1/2 :to 1 c. sugar
  • Pinch:of salt
  • Juice:of 1 lemon

Directions

Preparation

  1. Mix batter in 1 bowl.
  2. Mix filling in another bowl.
  3. Pour 1/2 batter in a 9 x 13 inch casserole dish.
  4. Pour filling over batter.
  5. Pour remaining batter over filling.
  6. Bake 45 minutes in preheated 300 degree oven.

  1. I made this recipe exactly as written. When I checked it after 45 minutes, it was very soupy and had not set up at all. I had guests waiting to eat. Put it back in the oven and turned up the heat to 375. It’s now been in the oven 55 minutes and it’s still not set. I think this needs to be baked at 350 degrees for the 45 minutes???
