Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons sliced almonds, pecans, or walnuts
  • 1 pound pitted dates, cut into pieces
  • 2 to 4 tablespoons plum, apricot, or orange jam

Preparation

Finely chop nuts in a food processor and transfer to a bowl. Add dates to the food processor and puree. Return nuts to the processor; add 2 to 3 tablespoons jam, and process to combine. Transfer to a bowl.
If you prefer a thinner consistency, add an additional tablespoon of jam.
