Crème Brûlée French Toast

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
- 6 (1-inch thick) slices day-old bread
- 5 large eggs
- 1 1/2
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
Preparation
1 Melt the butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup together (either in a pot or directly in the pan you”re going to use).
2 Place the slices of bread on top of the butter-sugar mixture in the baking pan.
3 Mix together the eggs, milk, and vanilla, before pouring it over the bread.
4 Refrigerate overnight.
5 Preheat the oven to 350 degrees farenheight.
6 Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes.
