Coffee Cream Cups

I love desserts in cups...which ever way you do it, it always looks great..... Try those dairy coffee creams...they are really unique.

    Coffee Cream Cheese Mousse

    • 8 ounces cream cheese
    • ½ cup confectioners’ sugar
    • 3 tbsp granulated coffee dissolved in 4 tbsp water
    • 1 8-ouncecontainer heavy whipping cream
    • 2 tablespoons sugar

    Coffee Cream

    • 3 tbsp granulated coffee dissolved in 4 tbsp water
    • 4 eggs
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 1 cup butter


    Make coffee cream cheese mousse:

    Beat cream cheese with confectioners’ sugar for about 4 minutes. Add coffee. In a separate bowl, beat heavy whipping cream with sugar until stiff peaks form, and fold into cream cheese mixture .

    Make coffee cream:

    Place all ingredients except butter in a pot. Cook, stirring constantly, for 15–20 minutes until thickened (the constant stirring prevents the eggs from congealing). Remove pot from heat, add butter, and stir until butter dissolves in the mixture. Cool for 15 minutes. Strain the cream (a must!) and blend with a blender or an immersion blender, until cream is smooth and velvety.

    Assembly:  Layer both creams as shown in the picture, you can add between the layers some wafer roll crumbs
