Coffee and Tea Flavored Ice Cubes

I enjoy drinking a cold cup of coffee or tea but the ice always waters it down. My answer to this problem is to make ice cubes with fresh brewed coffee or tea. As the ice melts, it adds flavor instead of diluting your drink.

Times

  • Ready Time : 0 min

Servings

Ingredients

    Coffee Ice Cubes

    • 2 cups brewed coffee
    • sugar/splenda
    • cream/milk

    Tea Ice Cubes

    • 2 cups water
    • 2 tea bags, your favorite flavor
    • sugar/splenda/honey

    Directions

    Coffee Ice Cubes
    makes 1 ice cube tray

    1. Brew your favorite coffee flavor.

    2. Add sugar/Splenda and cream/milk. Stir to combine.

    3. Pour into ice cube tray and freeze.

    Tea Ice Cubes

    1. Place two tea bags into hot water and steep for 5 minutes.

    2. Add sugar or honey and stir to combine.

    3. Pour into ice cube tray and freeze.

Love this idea. I wonder if it would work with coke…like coke ice cubes to put into a glass of soda. We like coke with ice but have the same problem with the ice watering it down…
