Sound yummy. Is there a way to replace the eggs with another ingredient?

    • I have not tried it, but I am told one of the best ways egg subs for cakes is flaxseeds – 1 tablespoon flaxseeds, ground mixed with 3 tablespoons water will replace 1 egg, let me know how it works out.

would this recipe work without an electric mixer? can it be done by hand? and if so, how would you suggest it be done? thank you.

This cake turned out to be so delicious and moist! I did not have an electric mixer on hand either, so I whisked all of the ingredients together by hand. As you add the boiling water, the batter becomes more easy to stir, so there was no clumping or difficulty there. Thank you for sharing this!

  4. thank you
