Chinese Deviled Eggs


  • Ready Time : 0 min



  • 12 hard boiled eggs
  • 1 inch piece ginger, grated
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 3-4 scallions, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Passover soy sauce
  • a few dashes of hot sauce any kind for heat
  • 2 tablespoons mayo
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • cilantro, chopped for garnish


Slice eggs in half and remove yolks.  Place yolks and the rest of ingredients except garnish int a bowl.  Mix and mash together.  Put mixture in a ziploc and pipe filling into middle of eggs.  Top with cilantro leaves.

    I love eggs cooked anyway at all, but especially deviled eggs. This recipe looks great, and I can’t wait to try it. And lucky me, I just got back from shopping and have 3 dozen eggs. NOMITY NOM! Thanks for the recipe!
