Buffalo Fake Chicken Pizza

One of the secrets to Buffalo Wings apparently is the use of butter, which doesn't work for us kosher keepers, nor does it work to put chicken on pizza. Between seitan and other fake chicken strips on the market you can now enjoy Buffalo "Chicken" with the butter and place it on top of pizza mixed with the flavors of blue cheese using the Sincerely Brigitte Blue Marble which has Blue flavor, but also melts well. Enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1/2 cup seitan or fake chicken
  • 3 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 2 small pre made pizza shells or make your own
  • 1 cup Sincerely Brigitte Blue Marble cheese, shredded
  • 1 scallion, chopped
  • 1 stalk celery, thinly sliced

Directions

Preheat oven to 500 degrees F.

Heat a small frying pan over medium high heat.  Add butter and seitan and saute until warmed and slightly browned.  Remove from heat and toss with hot sauce.  Adjust to taste.

Place pizza shells on a parchment lines baking sheet.  If using your own dough, roll out to two small pie crusts and par bake for about 10 minutes.  Sprinkle cheese over the crust evenly, top with green onions and celery.  Spread Buffalo seitan over top and bake in oven for 10 minutes until crust is done.
