Bread Stuffing or Dressing

This classic stuffing can be doctored up with your favorite flavors or just as is it is deliciously simple.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1/4 Cup Oil
  • 4 cups dried bread cubes
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped sage, thyme, and rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • broth of choice

Preparation

Preparation

1 Saute onion and celery in oil until soft. Combine with bread, pepper, eggs, salt and herbs. Mix with broth until moist.

2 Stuff in turkey and bake until temperature reaches 165F. Or bake in greasted 13x9 pan or muffin tins at 325F for 45 minutes covered. Uncover for last 10 minutes of cooking.
