Braising sauerkraut in beer deepens the flavor and tenderizes the kraut. Add caraway seeds for a pop of texture and flavor.

- 1 ½ cups sauerkraut
- 1 cup beer
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds, optional
1. Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan.
2. Bring to a boil and then lower heat to a simmer, until most of the beer evaporates.
