Beef and Mushroom Barley Soup

  • 2 lbs. beef bones
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 lb sliced mushrooms any variety
  • 1 cup barley
  • 10 cups Water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. pepper
  • 2 tsp. fresh thyme
  • ½ cup dry red wine
