BBQ Sauce for Burgers

We like a vinegar-based BBQ sauce that is not too sweet.

Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • ¼ cup mustard
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon ground mustard
  • 1 - 2 tablespoons tamarind paste (to taste)
  • ¼ cup molasses (to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Preparation

1. Combine all ingredients. 

2. Store remainder in the fridge 1 to 2 months.

Note that the last three ingredients have a very strong flavor. You may adjust the quantities of these to suit your personal preference.
