Baby Ruth Cookies

• 1/2 cup:butter or margarine
• 3/4 cup:white sugar
• 1 :egg
• 1-1/3 cups:all-purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon:salt
• 1/2 teaspoon:baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon:vanilla extract
• 2 bite-sized:Baby Ruth candy bars, chopped

Preparation

1. In a bowl cream together the butter and sugar. Add the eggs and vanilla. Mix well.
2. In another bowl mix the dry ingredients together. Add the dry mixture to the egg mixture. Mix well.
3. Add chopped up Babe Ruth Candy bars. Drop by heaping teaspoonful on cookie sheet.
4. Bake at 375 for 12-15 minutes. Makes 2 dozen.
