Apricot Puree

This puree can also be used with toast and butter or as part of a sauce for chicken, fish or meat; a great staple ingredient to add to your pantry.


  • Prep Time : 5 min
  • Cook Time : 5 min
  • Ready Time : 10 min


1 cup


  • 1 8-ounce container dried apricots
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/3 cup sugar or honey


1 Bring ingredients to a simmer.
2 Cook, covered on low heat for twenty minutes.
3 Puree with an immersion blender, regular blender or food processor.
